My original goal was to keep a website running at least through the 45th reunion and that was accomplished. The cost of the website (in it's present form) runs $120-$150 per year.

The website has been running since January of 2001 and now it is time for some decisions regarding the future of the site. We need to decide if we want to keep the website as it is, change to a format that is more for information only, or add more interactive features for classmates. The last option would be to let it die a graceful death.

Some of the features that could be used to make the site more interactive would be:

Upgrade the message board and encourage more participation on the board

Class directory...encourage signing the directory or renewing your entries

Chatroom... ..could be used on a weekly basis and would provide for chats between classmates.

Blog Page.....classmates could blog about their High School , life's experiences, family,

or just about anything that comes to their mind.

Tributes page ... Your special remembrances of those classmates who have passed on.

Photos.....Please send photos; school,classmates, family, vacations, special events or

awards.....anything. I could even make a page for you and your photos.

Now the other part, we currently have enough money to keep the site up through March 2009. The present cost of the site $10.00 per month and $15 to $20 per year for the domain (central57.org ). I recently paid for the domain for two years. It will expire in Jan 2011.

To keep this website interesting we need more contributions from classmates. If you have photos you would like posted on the website (old school pictures, vacations, anniversaries, grandchildren or whatever, scan them or send me the originals in a SASE and I will scan them and return the original. If you have a funny story to tell just send it to me by email or post it on the message board. We are also looking for creative writers to provide articles for the site. Email me and I will tell you how you can contribute.

I am looking forward to expanding this website in the future and hope that it will be an enjoyable place for the members of the class of '57 to visit.
